Course Description

The CompTIA A+ Core 1 – Virtualization and Cloud Computing (Domain 4.0) module introduces students to modern IT infrastructure technologies, including virtual machines, cloud services, and shared computing resources.

Aligned with the official CompTIA A+ 220-1201 (Core 1) exam objectives, this course explains how virtualization and cloud computing are used in today’s business environments. Students will learn how virtual machines work, understand different cloud service models, and identify common cloud-based solutions used in enterprise IT support.

This module provides both foundational theory and practical lab exposure to real-world virtualization and cloud platforms.

Requirements

Basic understanding of computer systems and operating systems.
Access to a computer with at least 8GB RAM (for virtualization labs).
